Description

I’ve made this cityscape cloisonne enamel necklace using vitreous enamel, silver and copper. First, I made a copper blank and counter-enamelled it. The enamel coat on the pieces’ back and suraface is the result of applying several layers of enamel grains. I have bended and shaped the silver wires, and fused them on the basecoat enamel on the blank. Then, I start filling the created cells using enamel coats. After applying each layer, I fire the pieces in my kiln at around 785 degrees celsius.

It is a mysterious autumn afternoon or perhaps winter! You might live in one of those apartments, or you are just visiting a stranger there!

The diameter of cityscape cloisonne enamel pendant is about 3 cm

The beaded necklace is made using glass beads and silver findings
