Patterned kite earrings

I have made these one of a kind patterned kite earrings as kites are symbol of childhood and freedom for me. I have enjoyed making them a great deal. The base metal for these earrings is copper. Also, I have also painted miniature patterns on the kites using fine graines of enamels. After cutting the kites, I have added several layers of vitreous enamel one by one and fired them in a kiln.

Finally, I have finished them by a tail of silver chains and argentium silver ear wires.
