I have made these enamel autumn leaf earrings using copper as the base metal and vitreous enamel. I have formed the leaves using repousse tools and then enamelled them. The enamel coat on the surface and the back of earrings is the result of applying several layers of enamel grains. After applying each layer, I fire the pieces in my kiln at around 785 degrees celsius. They are modern looking earrings and also a good gift for autumn lovers. The ear wires are sterling silver.
The length of leaves is 5 cm.
