Description

I have made these green leaf enamel studs using vitreous enamel grains, sterling silver and copper. First, I fired several layers of enamel over copper blanks. I also created an effect similar to dichronic glass using various green enamel shades. After final firing, I set the pieces in sterling silver and soldered the sterling silver posts on their back.
In terms of enamelling technique, I fire the pieces in my kiln at around 785 degrees celsius and after adding each layer of enamel, I reapeat firing.
The height of studs is 3cm.
