Description

I have depicted bright coloured windows in a grey foggy town!

I’ve made “Coloured window cloisonne pendant ” using vitreous enamel and sterling silver. Enamelling is done over copper blank with fused fine silver foil. First, I made the blank and counter-enamelled it. The enamel coat on the pieces’ back and surface is the result of applying several layers of enamel grains. I have bended and shaped the silver wires, and fused them on the basecoat enamel on the blank. Then, I start filling the created cells using enamel coats. After applying each layer, I fire the pieces in my kiln at around 785 degrees celsius. This is a technique called “cloisonne”.

After finishing the enamelling, I set the piece in sterling silver as the pendant. I have set a faceted citrine and added to the pendant setting.

The diameter of the enamel is about 3.1 cm and the height of pendant from bail to the stone is about 4.2 cm

The pendant will come with an oxidized beautiful chanin necklace
